From Natural History of New York. Agriculture of New-York: Composition and Distribution of the Soils and Rocks… More Common and Injurious Species of Insects. Drawn by E. Emmons, Jr., lithographed by Richd. H. Pease, Albany. This plate illustrates several species of moths and their life stages, including Phalaena Dione, Spilosoma Acraea, Spilosoma Arge, Spilosoma Cunea, Spilosoma Nais, Spilosoma Egle, Euchaetes Egle, and Bupalus Catenarius, along with the caterpillar and pupa of Phalaena Dione.
