From Nord-Amerikas Indianer, the Swedish abridged edition of Catlin’s Letters and Notes on the Manners, Customs and Condition of the North American Indians. Published Stockholm, 1848. Instead of including the small plates from Catlin’s Letters, this Swedish work adapted scenes from his more dramatic large-portfolio lithographs, which were issued less than five years earlier.
